Briar's Creek earns No. 9 spot on GolfCourseHome's 2009 "Best of the Best" Golf Communities

Johns Island, SC — April 24, 2009 — Briar's Creek has been ranked number nine out of the top ten on GolfCourseHome.net's 2009 "Best of the Best" Golf Communities. The list considers all major rankings and accolades of golf courses featured in major media in order to establish a ranking system where golf and golf living are the overall top priority.

GolfCourseHome.net and Golf Course Home® Network have announced their Second Annual "Best of the Best" golf community rankings. The GolfCourseHome's "Best of the Best" list is ranked based on the amount of awards or accolades given by major media to golf courses and golf communities for the year. This year, Briar's Creek earned the number nine spot with four major magazine awards.

This award is the latest of many accolades earned by the Rees Jones-designed Briar's Creek course, which has been named in the Top 100 by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine as well as earning the prestigious "Best New Private Course" in 2002.
